Sonic is freed and rejoins the resistance efforts. The rookie and classic characters work together with modern Sonic to take down Infinite’s powers and stop Eggman’s army. In the climactic battle, Sonic finally defeats Infinite and foils Eggman’s plans once again.
In the end, the resistance emerges victorious. Sonic restores freedom to the world, but the rookie and their new friends choose to remain vigilant against future threats.
